What is Wellness Travel?
Wellness travel is about travelling for the primary purpose of achieving, promoting or maintaining maximum health. It involves embarking on an escape or a discovery to find new ways to attain ultimate well-being.

Wellness travel can involve medical procedures, therapeutic spa treatments, yoga and spiritual journeys and outdoor fitness and sport activities.

What is Voyage for Health?
Voyage for Health is an online portal dedicated to providing wellness-minded travelers with the best medical and wellness experiences across the globe, which offer unique ways to health and happiness. Our philosophy is that travel should be healthy and fun – including the planning part. We aim to simplify things.

What information can I expect to find in the collection?
At most wellness hotels and resorts, we offer packages including as little or as much as you want. Packages include breakfast only or daily half or full board. A full daily program of treatments or activities may be included, or simply a program for a just a couple of days.
Each of our escapes includes sections titled Overview, Details, Activities, Video and Testimonials. You will also see Why Go Now on the right section of the page.  Please make sure to always check the Details tab to find all facility-specific and policy information. The Details section is the most important section to review before booking.

The types of arrangements do you offer?

We offer and you can book through us 3 types of arrangements as set out below. Who you will have a contract with and the terms which will apply to that contract depend on the type of arrangements you book.

  1. Health Resort – Your contract will be with the resort and not Voyage for Health. Voyage for Health acts only as agent for the establishment.
  2. Packages arranged by a tour operator – Your contract will be with the tour operator and not Voyage for Health . Voyage for Health acts only as agent for the tour operator.
  3. Packages arranged by medical facility – your contract will be with medical facility and not Voyage for Health, Voyage for Health acts only as referral agent for the medical facility.

All advertised packaged and programs are subject to availability at the time we confirm your booking request. Apparent on line availability may not always exist in real time.

Are flights included in Voyage for Health packages?
No, our healthy vacation packages generally do not include flights. We have found that most travelers prefer to book their own flights for more flexibility. However, in the case airfare is included in a package; it will be outlined under the Details tab of the escape.

What is the Voyage for Health Verified Stamp?
Our Voyage for Health Verified stamp means that a member of our team has visited the property and verified it to meet our world-class quality standards.

How do I book with Voyage for Health?
Booking a wellness vacation with Voyage for Health is simple. Use the link titled “Request a Booking” on the right side of the page which features the escape you are interested in. You will also find a booking link on the slideshow, to the right of the pricing details. For medical travel, use the link tilted “Request a Consultation.”

Can I book from outside the United States?
Absolutely. No matter where in the world you live, you can book a healthy escape. We gladly accept international credit cards.

How do I book multiple escapes or packages?
If you would like to book multiple escapes of the same type, you can use our booking form. You are able to add up to 4 additions in a single booking. If you would like to book multiple packages of different types, you must make a separate request for each room type.

How do I make a special and/or bedding request?
Please use the booking special requests section of the booking form any bedding requests or other special requests you have. Please note that these requests cannot be guaranteed and are based upon availability upon check-in.

Can I book for the same rates directly with the establishments if I mention Voyage for Health?
The only place you can get the Voyage for Health rate is on our website. Our partners offer these rates exclusively on Voyage for Health, so be sure to book with us.

How can I change the traveler names on my booking?
You have the ability on the booking request form to add the names that will be associated with each room of your reservation. This information will be sent directly to the hotel. If you are changing this after you book, please send an email to support@voyageforhealth to modify the names on your reservation, and we will contact the hotel with your request.

Can I cancel or modify a booking after I purchase?
In order for us to provide such exclusive rates, we have a strict no-cancellation/modification policy. All packages are prepaid in advance and non-refundable.

When do I receive my confirmation for booking?
You will receive a confirmation email shortly after submitting your order that will include your Voyage for Health order and reservation numbers. Within a week of your purchase, we will send you another email with the resort supplier confirmation number, should you need to contact the hotel directly.

How does payment work?

How do I know if my personal information is safe in my account?
The safety of your credit card and personal information are our highest priority. We do not share, sell or otherwise use your personal information without your permission, except when required by law or any legal process. We use the utmost care and security with any information we collect and will not use this information in ways to which you have not consented. We also never take credit card information over the phone, via e-mail or through any other direct form of contact. We require you to personally enter your credit card information when making a purchase. We can never charge your card without your explicit permission to do so.

What taxes and fees are included in each purchase?
We do our best to include all the mandatory taxes and fees charged by each establishment in the final price. However, if there are any fees that are not included, we will note these in the details tab of the escape page.

How do I invite a friend to receive health and wellness updates?
Inviting friends is as easy. If you have friends and family you would like to invite to receive our exclusive updates, click on the Invite Friends link located at the right of our home page and enter their email addresses.

How and when do I receive credit for inviting a friend?
We will credit your account when your friend makes their first purchase. There’s no limit to how many friends can join through you, so start inviting!

Is there a limit to the amount of credit I can have?
Absolutely not. In fact, we suggest inviting every person you know so you can get thousands in credit.

Do invitation credits expire?
Credits earned by inviting a friend will expire after one year.

Can I choose the amount of credit I want to use toward each purchase?
Unfortunately, no. We use the maximum amount of credit available toward each purchase.

Can I gift a Voyage for Health experience or book on behalf of a friend?
Absolutely. You can both book it under your name and then add the traveler’s name in the special request section of our booking form.

What do I need to bring with me in order to check in?
We suggest bringing a copy of your escape confirmation number, as this number links your Voyage for Health booking with the reservation the resort has processed in its system. This will help eliminate any potential check-in issues. The hotel will require a valid photo ID and any valid credit card in order to check in, not necessarily the one used for purchase on Voyage for Health

Do you provide any sort of extra pre-arrival information for the tours and packages?
For most of our hotels, you will need only our supplier confirmation number to check in. However, we do feature some more complex packages and tours that may require more information before travel. In these cases, we will send you an email with all the necessary pre-arrival information to make your travel as smooth as possible

What should I do if the hotel has problems locating my reservation?
If the hotel is unable to locate your reservation and supplier confirmation number for any reason, please call support at 877-JSET-USA/877-573-8872 and we will resolve any miscommunication.

Can I suggest hotels and locations?
Absolutely. In fact, please do so as much as possible. We always love to hear what our members want to see more of. Your suggestions are very important to us and will be researched and considered for future events.
